I really like constructing.
In fact, I think I need to construct and create. (Perhaps we all do…)
Otherwise, I get all … antsy.
These pages bear witness to my efforts at construction,
and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share my work with you.

Are you wondering about the title?
Well, there is a bit of a story to that-
and it does make for a catchy tag-
but mostly I want to live and love,
grow, create, heal , laugh
and share and sell my artwork.
So please, have a look.
I love exploring different media-
paint, encaustic, print, ceramic, glass, jewelery, refuse, mixed, toilet seats-
and my inspiration is diverse- rust, wood, peeling paint, God, birds, fish, justice, fish, old photos, beauty- or lack thereof, hardware, trash, clouds, faces, hands, poetry…stuff.
My work is organized by media and themes.
And nearly everything has a story behind it- so feel free to ask!

I’d rather sell some art than do a lot of things.
I’d definitely rather sell some art than sue my chiropractor.
(Actually, I’d rather make art than have to bother with selling it,
but hey,
a girl’s gotta feed her family…)

Most are available as originals or,
if the original is no longer available,
nearly everything is available as a commission,
archival reproduction, or blank note cards (single or sets).
